Balance-Certified Golf’s “systems engineering” approach to the golf swing has made us the world leader in back-weighting technology since 1999. Our latest technology for drivers, the Shaft Stabilizer™, significantly improves swing consistency by optimizing the Moment Of Inertia (MOI) of the butt end of the club to maximize inertial stability. In other words, the improved MOI increases the controllability of the club. Why will the Balance-Certified weighting system help my putting?

• A:By putting more weight above the hands a couple of things happen. One, the weight tends to give a greater balance to the putter resulting in keeping the hands quiet and more stokes that keep square to the target. Secondly, with the "right" weight, more feedback is sent to the hands by moving the vibration center (node) further up the shaft. While it may seem insignificant, the resulting feedback in almost all cases results in more distance control and greater "feel." All of these factors have caused our professional Tour players to lower their putting stroke average. The same has been true for our regular golf customers.

I have heard of counter-weighting...what makes your product so unique?

• A: BCG has fully researched the history of counter-weighting and found that leading players throughout the past many years have experimented with it and some do to this day. (We can't say whom, but think major title holders.) What BCG has done is perfect the installation, performance and consistency to bring the concept to the real world in an easy to install, fully adjustable product that can improve the ball striking of players of all skill levels

The Balance-Certified counter weighting process will optimize the performance of almost all putters. By going through the process you will find an improved “feel” and control of your putter. The result is increased distance control and a much tighter dispersion of your putts. Without going into the science (our proprietary information) we have found that we are able to tune the feedback at impact to synchronize your mind, hands and club. Tom Jenkins, a Champion Tour player moved from 61st in putting statistics to the top 20 using Balance-Certified weights in his putter. Recently, Larry Nelson won his first tournament of the year one week after having his putter Balance-Certified. The results speak for themselves.
