Why will the Balance-Certified weighting
system help my putting?
- A:By putting more weight above the hands a couple of things happen. One,
the weight tends to give a greater balance to the putter resulting in keeping
the hands quiet and more stokes that keep square to the target. Secondly, with
the "right" weight, more feedback is sent to the hands by moving the vibration
center (node) further up the shaft. While it may seem insignificant, the
resulting feedback in almost all cases results in more distance control and
greater "feel." All of these factors have caused our professional Tour players
to lower their putting stroke average. The same has been true for our regular
golf customers.

Balance Certified Golf uses a system of counterweights that fit
into the shaft of almost any club: driver, wood, iron or putter. The
theory is that not everybody has the exact same swing, so no off the
rack club has the right balance for every user. The system puts you
through a series of tests that help you decide which weight in which
club is exactly right for you. The weight reduces shaft vibration
and moves the focal "node" of the club back into the hands,
resulting in more consistent striking and ball control. And it's
USGA and RA approved. |
The Balance-Certified counter weighting
process will optimize the performance of almost all putters. By
going through the process you will find an improved “feel” and
control of your putter. The result is increased distance control and
a much tighter dispersion of your putts. Without going into the
science (our proprietary information) we have found that we are able
to tune the feedback at impact to synchronize your mind, hands and
club. Tom Jenkins, a Champion Tour player moved from 61st in putting
statistics to the top 20 using Balance-Certified weights in his
